Lewiston City Councilor Bret Martel said council leadership rejected his emergency agenda item after two more people were shot in the face following the city’s gun violence forum. Martel said the city left a three-and-a-half-hour meeting with no action plan and no sign that leadership considers the public safety crisis an emergency.
