Bruce Poliquin has served as Maine’s State Treasurer, Second District Congressional Representative, and now he’s considering a run for governor. But first, he’d like to see some signs that Mainers are ready to choose a different path than the last six years of progressive one-party rule. Poliquin discusses Elon Musk’s feud with President Donald Trump, predicts they’ll get over it, and says Maine’s next governor must bring the DOGE skill set to Augusta. The former Wall Street asset manager also opens up for the first time about some of the highs and lows of his investing career, including his first major private-sector victory as a pension fund manager.
